With a background spanning education, broadcasting and building successful training programmes, I bring a unique blend of communication skills, technical understanding and real-world experience to the work I do today.
My journey began as a lecturer in digital music production, where I discovered how much I loved helping people bring their ideas to life and build confidence using technology. That passion for teaching and innovation took me to the BBC in London, where I worked in broadcasting, audio and music. It was an energetic, fast-moving environment that showed me how technology can elevate stories, simplify processes and spark new possibilities.
After returning to the education sector in a variety of support roles, I decided to pursue a long-term dream: running my own business. I launched my beauty business, grew it into a fully booked success, and soon expanded into a fully accredited training academy. Alongside delivering practical skills training, I developed business courses for beauty entrepreneurs, helping them build confidence, understand marketing and grow profitable, sustainable businesses. Supporting learners on both the creative and business sides quickly became one of the most rewarding parts of my career.
Along the way, I discovered AI, not the scary, sci-fi version, but the everyday practical kind that helps business owners save time, stay organised and unlock new ideas. I used it to streamline marketing, automate tasks and free up space to focus on what I love most. The more I learned, the more I realised how powerful AI could be for organisations of all sizes, provided it was taught in a friendly, straightforward and completely non-intimidating way.
Today, through AI Angels, I help entrepreneurs and SMEs understand and adopt AI with confidence. My mission is to make AI accessible, practical and empowering, giving business owners the clarity, tools and inspiration to work smarter, grow faster and embrace the future with excitement.
